YELLOW SYDNEY
📍57 MACLEAY STREET, POTTS POINT NSW Sydney Australia
Located in a historic yellow townhouse in Potts Point, Yellow may be one of the most celebrated vegan restaurants in Sydney. Each dish is crafted with a focus on local ingredients; the restaurant offers both vegan and vegetarian tasting menus, brunch on the weekend and ala carte dining.
“…and having a solely vegetable driven menu gives me the opportunity to focus on interesting and heirloom varietals, grown by local suppliers. By treating vegetables with the same consideration as protein we hope to show that vegetarian dishes are just as delicious as any other menu item.” - Brent Savage
Flavors were intriguing with notes of eucalyptus and wattle seed in the standout allium dish. My only issue was though still delicious, I found some dishes to be visually unappealing, like the abalone mushroom filet.
